Vintage Diode bridge compressor Incisive and versatile, the RND 535 'diode bridge' compressor is based on the original Rupert Neve 2254 compressor, while offering new features such as advanced timing control, very low background noise, step controls and the possibility of internal parallel processing (side-chain detection). Originally developed for the acclaimed Shelford Channel circuit, the 535 dresses the classic design of Rupert Neve Class A transformers and amplifiers, all with a design and construction designed for the popular 500 series format. Trying to overcome the limitations of the original 2254, Rupert Neve Designs has made every possible effort to obtain a reproduction as faithful as possible, improving the characteristics and combining the classic sound of the original with a flexibility adapted to the present day. The 535 is a dynamics processor ready to intervene effectively on any track.
