The Camden also sets a new standard for frequency and phase linearity: ±0.7dB of frequency response from 5Hz to 200kHz at maximum gain, and <2nd phase shift @ 50Hz-20kHz. The final result is a preamplifier with an extremely natural sound. Vintage, warm and colorful The Camden 500 is characterized by the “Mojo”, a custom analog saturation circuit capable of transforming it into the hottest, most colorful and biggest preamplifier in your arsenal. Designed to introduce those harmonics typical of the most famous vintage products, the “Mojo” parameter can intervene both discreetly and aggressively (and can, of course, be bypassed) .Custom topology Thanks to a transformer-free topology with a gain of 68.5 dB, the Camden 500 provides incredible performance in terms of background noise, distortion, sequential response and phase shift on all 12 gain positions.Three-way input switchThe input impedance and headroom suitable for Microphone, Line sources and with high impedance they allow full-range and gritty recordings with +26.5 dBu of input, but also a lively and natural D.I. sound with its unique BJT design and an input impedance of 1.5M Ohm.Manufactured in the United Kingdom.
