Award winning sound Thanks to the two separate preamps with “Camden” technology, developed for the Camden 500, Camden EC2 offers incredible performance, reduced background noise and minimum harmonic distortion, as well as unparalleled linearity (in frequency response and in phase) with any gain value. The result is -129.8dB EIN (150ohm), THD+N 0.0002%, ±0.7dB frequency response from 5Hz to 200kHz at gain and < 2nd phase shift @ 20Hz — 20kHz. Vintage personality By inserting our custom analog saturation circuit called “Mojo”, the Camden EC2 is able to emulate the sound of famous British preamps (and their beloved transformers). Bypassing the 'Mojo' circuit, on the other hand, knows how to be an incredibly clean and natural tool. Using the preamps in “Line” mode, the Mojo saturation circuit can apply vintage color to your stems and also to stereo mixs.Dual-channel preamp and D.I. for instruments Thanks to a transformer-free topology and a gain stage of 68.5 dB, the Camden EC2 provides incredible performance in terms of background noise, distortion, frequency and phase response with any gain value (12 steps). Each EC2 pre-amplifier channel has an input impedance and headroom tailored to microphone, line and high impedance sources, thanks to a switch with 3 different positions for each channel.Double headphone mixerTwo reference quality headphone amps with discrete line mixer allow direct monitoring of both Camden preamps using directly the headphones connected to the Camden EC2 front panel. You can listen to the preamplifiers while positioning the microphones to search for the sweet spot of a guitar cabinet, a speaker or an acoustic instrument; or it is possible to configure them to create a completely analog monitor mix with zero latency by combining the Camden preamps with a playback coming from an external source thanks to the Aux Inputs on the back panel.
