Distortor guitar pedal The Mighty Red Distortion is a high-gain distortion pedal, which has been modeled after compressed gain sounds in the 80s style. It's extremely easy and fun to play because its texture is adjusted to give clarity and definition even to strong distortions. The gain range also allows for low distortion sounds and pairing with other pedals, where an overdrive can pre-drive the effect for extreme, highly focused sounds. To achieve these gain levels with their impressive signal-to-noise ratio, we didn't use any noise gate or expander, but special amplification techniques and extremely low noise amplification stages, which result in natural decay and a fairly high current consumption for a distortion pedal. The Presence control was designed to control the treble, but not to influence the upper midrange, so as to get the exact treble you want. Controls: Volume: Set the signal level distorted.
