PCIExpress 30 Channel, 192 kHz card, with ADAT, SPDIF, AES/EBU, Analog I/O and MIDI RME features the HDSPe AIO Pro PCI Express audio interface, heir to the award-winning HDSPe AIO
RME HDSPe AIO Pro is a 1:1 replacement in terms of functionality (number of channels, I/O). This is because RME has so many “industrial” customers who need to have this card (or an identical one) for several years. The only limitation is that the card no longer supports AI4S-192/AO4S-192 (while TCO/WCM is still supported). The technical specifications, on the other hand, have been significantly improved.
Here are in detail the important improvements of the new model: Improved grounding
circuit, for a better experience in the field regarding the typical “mass noise” problems of PCs.
Use of the converters mounted on ADI-2 Pro: AK5572 and 2 x AK4490
Output dedicated to the ultra powerful and low noise/distortion headphone, with Mute relay derived directly from the ADI-2 FS Headphone
output with levels selectable between +19 dBu/+7 dBu (High/Low Power) Mute
relay also for XLR/RCA outputs - no “pop” when turning on the computer New reference levels supported at the output.
Balanced: +24/+19/+13/+4 dBu.
Unbalanced: +19/+13/+4/-2 dBu. The interface uses a special attenuator to maximize the Signal-to-Noise Ratio and achieve lower output impedance levels even with lower reference levels.
SteadyClock FS
The entire analog input circuit is derived from the ADI-2 Pro, with the same reference levels of +24/+19/+13/+4 dBu.
Note: The new RME HDSPe AIO Pro does not support sample rates higher than 192 kHz or DSD. As I said at the beginning, the basic characteristics have not changed.
