Compressor Guitar Pedal The Forest Green Compressor (FGC) is designed to meet the highest compression standards for guitar and bass. There is extremely low noise across the range and a high overload margin, which also allows for a wide dynamic input range with minimal distortion and noise. The FGC is equipped with a special tone control to fine-tune compressed sound for a more transparent sound and effect. The pedal has a switchable compressor and a sustainer mode. In Sustain mode, you can achieve a very dynamic, touch-sensitive tone with a long sustain. Here the attack is not lost, making the pedal also suitable for blues musicians and works great with the slide.Controls:Level: In Compressor mode, adjust the overall volume and the FGC can also be used as a booster. In Sustain mode, the level no longer adjusts the total output but the level of the supported part.COMPR: Set the amount of compression and sustain. Lower settings mainly give peak limitation, higher settings more compression and a less sensitive touch response. At most, the output will be heavily compressed, while maintaining clarity at an almost infinite sustain. Tone: The tone control on the FGC is designed to fine-tune compressed sound for a more transparent tone and effect: adjust counterclockwise for full range compression and set at noon for a tighter sound with a little less bass and rotates completely clockwise to reduce treble slightly. COMPRESSOR/SUSTAIN SWITCH: Attack and decay times are carefully adjusted and set internally for fast attack and slow decay. With the switch set to Sustain, the attack is preserved allowing for dynamic touch and ease of execution as FGC amplifies decay and weaker parts. For standard compression, set the mode selector to Compressor.
