The G12M Creamback is perhaps the ultimate Celestion Vintage ceramic magnet guitar speaker. Developed in the mid-sixties, it was quickly adopted by musicians such as Hendrix, Clapton, Beck and Page, who were distinguished by the most powerful and aggressive Blues Rock style of that period.
The G12M-65 Creamback produces the familiar woody tone of the G12M, but manages greater power, making it particularly suitable for today's amplifiers, where a vintage tone is desired. The increased power hold brings with it a grunt in the low-end that integrates with the warm and sonorous medium frequencies, the sparkling medium-high frequencies and the sweet, refined high frequencies.
