In 1986, a new generation of hard rock musicians was emerging with a growing desire for 'hot-rodded' amplifiers. To meet their needs, we decided to develop a modern speaker, capable of handling much more power and distortion. To achieve this goal, we have paired our 'H' magnet (the closest in terms of performance to Alnico) with a new cone and coil using modern materials. This is how our most emblematic and iconic speaker was born: Celestion Vintage30. And it was immediately a legend. The Vintage 30 is characterized by incredibly complex and detailed shades, a warm low-end, a recognizable, rich, mid-range vocal and a well-detailed top-end. Used individually to highlight the complexities of hand-built boutique amplifiers, or in combinations of four for a wonderful and articulated vintage crunch.
