Since its introduction, the series has grown from three models to more than a dozen options - one of the most recent introductions being the S2 McCarty 594. The 10th Anniversary S2 McCarty 594 model is based on the original specifications of the S2 McCarty 594, maintaining the Maple top, the Mahogany back, the 24,594" scale, the Pattern Vintage 22-fret neck, the two-piece PRS bridge and the vintage-style mechanics. Special features include a Cuban Mahogany neck, Mother of Pearl Birds inlays and, above all, USA-produced PRS 58/15 LT pickup and electronics. The 58/15 LT (“low turn”) pickups are vintage-inspired pickups with exceptional clarity. Designed to capture the sweetness of vintage single coils and the warmth of late 1950s humbuckers and tuned with the PRS TCI process, these pickups are lively and open, with focused mids and balanced highs and lows. 1,000 limited-edition S2 McCarty 594 10th Anniversary instruments will be made
