The PRS SE Swamp Ash Special is a tool that offers unique features in the PRS SE series. The body is made of Swamp Ash, while the 22-key neck and keyboard are made of Maple. The SE Swamp Ash Special's vocals are versatile, thanks to the three-pickup configuration. On the bridge and handle there are 85/15 “S” humbuckers, while in the center an AS-01 Single Coil designed by PRS. This pickup is made with Steel and Alnico, a combination that adds mass while helping to maintain the sound. With the push-pull tone control and 3-position selector, this guitar offers a versatile sound, with bright but soft highs, intense lows, and a 'twang' tone suitable for 'hot country', blues and even jazz.
