60-channel USB/FW Audio Interface - 192 kHz/24 bit The Fireface 802 FS is a highly integrated professional audio solution, enclosed in a 19" rack unit, ideal for live and studio environments that require high performance. It's an interface designed for users who don't want compromises in terms of sound quality, stability, and latency, and who want an unparalleled set of professional features. The Fireface 802 FS is equipped with new analog and digital electronics with 60 audio channels, high-quality microphone preamplifiers, state-of-the-art converters, a complete effects section, and support for sample rates up to 192 kHz. It also has the Active SteadyClock FS function for reducing jitter, individually selectable reference levels for all inputs and outputs, DC-coupled outputs for all 8 analog I/Os, stand-alone functionality, a measurement and analysis toolkit called DigiCheck, and an identical user experience on Windows PC and Mac. The Fireface 802 FS also includes an optional Class Compliant mode (30 I/O channels up to 192 kHz) and allows the use of TotalMix FX for iPad, an RME app that allows you to control the Fireface 802 FS interface directly from the iPad, without the need for a computer. The Class Compliant alternative mode can be activated via a built-in switch on the back of the interface.
