USB 3.0 interface 128 Ravenna channels and 64 MADI channels - 192kHz Digiface Ravenna The Digiface Ravenna is a lightweight and portable audio interface, based on the tried and tested Digiface Dante, equipped with a RAVENNA module developed by DirectOut and all the features that RME is famous for: USB 3, MADI, TotalMix FX and exceptional options both in USB and stand-alone mode. RAVENNA portable USB solution The combination of renowned RME (Mac/Windows) drivers and the RAVENNA implementation of DirectOut offers a reliable and flexible AoIP audio interface. Equipped with the latest TotalMix FX, it can handle as many independent submixes as there are available outputs. The high-quality headphone output offers quick listening to any audio channel, but it can also be used as a line output to provide an additional analog stereo mixdown. Ravenna & MADI RME has made the two BNC sockets for the word clock I/O switchable into MADI I/O, with a maximum of 64 channels. The total sum of Ravenna and MADI, 128 channels, is transferred via USB 3.0 and managed through the included RAVENNA web server or RME's TotalMix FX, for simple and complete control of all audio. From a network point of view, the interface is equipped with a complete RAVENNA stack with AES67 and ST2110-30/31 support and redundant audio-over-IP streaming according to ST2022-7. In addition, the interface can be used as a 64-channel RAVENNA/MADI mobile converter without the need for a USB connection to a computer. The MADI I/O coaxial connectors can also be configured to work as a word clock synchronization I/O. TotalMix FX & TotalMix Remote Like all the latest RME interfaces, the Digiface series includes the powerful TotalMix FX digital mixer. The TotalMix FX allows virtually unlimited mixing and routing operations, with all inputs and playback channels simultaneously, to any hardware output. The Digiface series includes a section dedicated to the Control Room with Talkback, Main Monitor/Phones, fader groups, mute groups, complete remote control via MCU or OSC protocol and much more. The Digiface series does not support DSP-based effects (FX), such as EQ or reverb. In addition, RME's latest software, TotalMix Remote, increases the power of RME interfaces by allowing remote control via iOS, PC or Mac. Thanks to a simple configuration process (just enter the IP address of the computer you want to control with TotalMix Remote), users can quickly adjust any aspect of TotalMix FX on a host system while walking around the studio with their tablet or from a control room located elsewhere in the facility.
