MXR's M305 Tremolo is the guitar effect pedal that marks the return of Tremolo to the established MXR effect pedal line. M305 combines a complete range of classic Tremolo sounds, optimized and complemented by some features that can meet the expectations of even the most demanding modern musician.

THE STORY

With the six waveforms available, in the M305, the classic tremolo sounds inspired by the M305 and the new sounds created by the MXR design team are best represented. The MXR style recreates the organic sound and pulse of the beloved MXR M159 stereo Tremolo. The Bias style takes up the rich and powerful compression of the tremolo effects of tube amplifiers from the early '60s. Revo, an original innovation, transforms the waveform of the optical tremolo by inverting it, for an exaggerated tonal excursion. The Opto style emulates the pulsating tremolo generated by photocells in many popular amplifiers. Inspired by an iconic outboard effect, the SQR setting produces a choppy and super pronounced tremolo. Finally, the Harmony style recreates the phaser-like trippy tremolo produced by some rare vintage amplifiers.

Getting an immediately ready sound from the M305 Tremolo is simple thanks to the SPEED, GAIN and DEPTH controls that manage the speed, volume and intensity of the selected effect respectively. To scroll through the six Tremolo styles, simply press the gain knob. For lovers of sound research, several additional functions are available, from stereo operation to tap tempo management, from the possibility of using an expression pedal to the Envelope effect that makes the response of the effect sensitive to your attack

.

POWER SUPPLY

The MXR M305 Tremolo can be powered with Jim Dunlop's ECB003 9-volt adapter, the DC Brick, the Iso-Brick and the Mini Iso-Brick (not included). It cannot be battery powered
