Overdrive guitar pedal The Supreme was born from the collaboration with the excellent guitarist and sound expert Matt Schofield, in search of the best possible overdrive sounds as well as a specific functionality: the possibility of switching from one effect to another with a single press of the switch. The tones have been set to obtain: On the A side an excellent boost and a low gain drive On the B side a FAT and dynamic tone with a “power amp” response with a lot of headroom. While part A is inspired by the famous Royal Blue Overdrive, part B is a completely new project, mainly dedicated to use with the bridge pickup. Both effects are equipped with very versatile EQ sections. The Supreme can also be useful to combine with a single-channel amplifier, adjusting effect A for rhythmic sound and effect B for leads, obtaining two different levels of gain and volume, accessible with a single press of the switch. In other words, you can easily bypass or switch from one 'channel' to another with a completely individual equalization/gain/volume, without having to resort to a complex programmable switcher! And the fun doesn't end there: It is also possible to adjust both effects separately and then superimpose them. Overlapping the drives allows for an additional variety of sounds.
