Nxt4a Electric Viola is the electric viola from NS Design's NxTA series in Satin Black finish, designed to meet the needs of the musician in the studio, on stage and in all situations that require a stimulating performance.

OVERVIEW

The purple NXT4a features a flamed maple top with a Satin Black finish, a maple body, a comfortable Custom backrest and a height-adjustable bridge. This viola offers musicians quality performance and extraordinary freedom of expression.

Pickup Polar™

The heart of the viola NXT4a is the Polar™ Pickup System, guided directly by the vibration of the strings and capable of reproducing a complete sound spectrum with maximum clarity. A switch placed next to the Tone and Volume controls allows you to select the Arc or Pipped mode, expanding the sound range of this instrument even more.

Dual Mode Output

The new Dual Mode electronics in the NxTA series increases the versatility of the instrument. To use the active mode, simply connect the viola to the power supply for 60 seconds to get about 16 hours of performance from when it is disconnected. The instrument can be connected to any low or high impedance device, without having to use any D.I. The absence of signal loss allows you to use even very long cables while maintaining the entire frequency range offered. Instead, by connecting the viola to a D.I. or to a high-impedance input of an amplifier, the passive mode can be used.

Custom Shoulder Rest

The Custom backrest is equipped with a malleable aluminum base that allows you to adapt it to the shape of your chest and shoulder. The ergonomically shaped chin guard made of ebony works in synergy with the backrest to offer you comfort and safety.
