Vox AC15CH Custom Head

Based on the classic VOX AC15 electric guitar combo amplifier, the AC15CH head offers the same AC15 characteristics in the head format. Thanks to VOX's reactive attenuator technology, AC15CH gives your music greater flexibility, both for live performances and for playing at home.

Just like the AC15C1 Custom amplifier, the AC15CH head is equipped with an EL84 valve. The V212C cabinet completes the package with its 2 12" Celestion G12M Greenback cones that provide the classic British stamp. The two Normal and Top Boost channels have dedicated volume control, and the Top Boost channel offers the ability to manage Treble and Bass. The Master section has the distinctive Tone Cut control and the Master Volume that allow you to have a wide variety of sounds, from bright clean to raw and powerful overdrive. The Vox Tremolo and the Spring Reverb of the Custom series are also present in the AC15CH cylinder head. These effects can be enabled or disabled using the optional VOX VFS2A Footswitch pedal.

What is the reactive attenuator?

This is an attenuator that uses VOX's Reactor technology that optimizes the interaction between the cone and the amplifier at any volume. This allows the speaker and amplifier to perform at their best both on stage and in the bedroom, providing a sense of power and control that cannot be achieved with other attenuators.
