Werkstatt-01 Analog Synth in mounting kit is the most accessible analog synthesizer ever made by Moog. It comes with a very easy-to-assemble mounting kit that allows anyone to make a customized analog synthesizer. Werkstatt-01 is analog, monophonic and perfectly 'patchable': the circuit is fully expandable thanks to the supplied mini patchbay.



The only oscillator present onboard (with a frequency of 8Hz -> 16kHz) produces square and sawtooth waveforms, selectable by means of a special switch. The signal from the oscillator passes to the filter section that comes with the classic 4-Pole Moog Ladder Filter with Resonance control (20Hz-20kHz). The LFO includes square and triangular waves and an adjustable speed between 2 and 600 Hz. It is also possible to modulate the cutoff frequency using one of the two EG and LFO sources, with adjustable amount and polarity. The most interesting part of the Werkstatt-01 undoubtedly consists of the Patchbay section, which, through special connectors, allows different combinations of connections between audio and CV control.


Also available as an accessory is the Expansion Board, a board that improves synth connectivity by allowing simple connections with other external devices. Thanks to this expansion card, which can be easily installed on the front panel, it is possible to have a standard 3.5mm mini jack as a connection for each signal, perfect for external analog hardware with
