This fully-hollow guitar features a solid spruce top with (arched) bottom and flamed maple bands with a classic Blonde glossy polyurethane finish. The handle is in mahogany (“Soft U” profile) with central maple reinforcement, the rosewood or Ebony fingerboard with mother-of-pearl inlay block, the bindings and purfling in black or ivory ABS. The DeArmond Rhythm Chief 1000 floating pickup completes this homage to the original jazzbones of the 1950s with the characteristic full-bodied, dynamic and detailed sound, the quintessence of jazz. The volume and tone controls inserted under the Guild single-layer pickguard. The A-150 Savoy completes its equipment with a compensated rosewood bridge and an aluminum tailpiece customized around the Guild's iconic logo, the open vintage-style Grover mechanics have a 18:1 ratio.
