16-channel AD/DA converter, 24Bit/192K Adat format The PULSE16 converts 16 x 16 balanced analog studio inputs and outputs up to 96kHz into ADAT I/O. Being an affordable and mature interface, the ADAT is already available almost everywhere, so expanding your studio with the PULSE16 by 16 x 16 analog channels takes place in a few steps. The Cirrus Logic low latency converters, accompanied by a temperature-compensated clock and a PLL for reducing jitter, guarantee crystal clear sound. The PULSE16 offers study levels of up to +20dBu, individually adjustable in steps of 1dB, on 32 TRS connectors. Thanks to the 4 x 4 ADAT interfaces, it is possible to convert 16 x 16 channels without problems even at 96 kHz. Configuring the device is child's play thanks to the two TFT screens. There is no need to consult the manual, all information is clearly displayed on the screens. Remote control via MIDI and MADI is also possible. The headphone can be connected to any analog or digital input or output: ideal for control or monitoring. If your studio grows, the PULSE16 grows with it: You can add MADI I/O through a MADI-SFP module and a firmware update. The PULSE16 then becomes a fully-fledged PULSE16 MX.
