The MXR Carbon Copy Deluxe Analog Delay M292 is intended for musicians who want to have total control over all the parameters that an analog delay can provide, M292 gives total freedom of experimentation and musical expression. It has a Tap Tempo that allows you to reach a delay of 1.2 seconds so you can easily set both a narrow slap repeat and the creation of spatial soundscapes. The Tap Division switch, accompanied by an easy and intuitive display, offers four different subdivisions: eighths, eighths, triplets and sixteenth
Regarding the stamp, we must point out that the M292 has the same modulation circuit as the M169 but in the Deluxe model the modulation controls are easily accessible directly from the front panel. The Bright switch, present in the Carbon Copy Bright model released in 2015 and now discontinued, together with the Mod switch, allow the achievement of an almost infinite sound range
The Carbon Copy Deluxe Analog Delay M292 also has an Expression Jack input that allows you to connect an expression pedal such as the DVP3 Volume (X) or the DVP4 Volume (X) Mini by Jim Dunlop or an external Footswitch such as that of MXR Tap Tempo Switch, you can connect it to the Expression Jack and then program two different configurations for the Delay, Speed, Width and Bright knobs, Tap Div and Mod switch. An expression pedal will allow you to blend in perfectly, while an external Footswitch will allow you to discreetly switch between the two. It is also possible to set the external switch to act on the Bright, Mod, Div switch controls and much more.
By removing the bottom plate, you can access the internal switches for managing the input Gain and Dry. The Gain input can be used to optimize the performance of input signals. With the Dry switch it is possible to remove the Dry signal from the mix out while the delay effect is active, obtaining 100% of the wet signal for recording and mixing the parallel signal. Like the M169, the M292 can run on both AC and battery power.
