It is an overdrive with great dynamics and is capable of going from a warm, semi-clean sound to a full crunch up to saturated distortions. It provides the same dynamic response as a vintage tube amplifier, it's like having a Plexi in a pocket format! It allows you to switch from clean sounds to distorted sounds without ever mixing the sound. Being a full-range preamp, it also works well with keyboards.
