Multi-Algo double compression pedal with integrated 1073 preamplifier UAFX Max Preamp & Dual Compressor includes a double stereo compressor with three iconic guitar effects, UA 610 tube preamp and EQ, custom footswitch and sidechain bass filter, all controllable through the UAFX Control app. Built on the basis of the award-winning UAFX series with 'dual-engine' processing, Max Preamp & Dual Compressor integrates three legendary limiters and an iconic pre-valve into a single pedal. With this pedal you can experience the perfect compression of the UA 1176, developed directly by the founder of Universal Audio Bill Putnam. Max offers the same FET compressor used for decades to define legendary guitar sounds in the studio, as well as the tube compression of the Telettronix LA-2A, an iconic optical tube limiter that offers softer and warmer dynamic control than the 1176 model. In addition, it is possible to precisely adjust the compression thanks to the Ratio function, exclusive to the pedal, for an even more effective limiter intervention than vintage hardware versions and UAD plug-ins. To then obtain lo-fi compression and funky overdrive, the classic Dyna Comp is also present. In addition to all this, Max also includes the legendary UA 610 tube preamplifier and equalizer, perfect for obtaining the details and character of the original hardware that has indelibly marked the musical production of recent decades. Max then allows compressors to be easily superimposed in any combination to obtain an unprecedented range of sounds and textures. With the UAFX Control app, you can change equalizer settings, achieve series/parallel operation, and add a sidechain bass filter to achieve fully customized compression and preamp effects.
