The Sequential Trigon 6 in this desktop version is a compact and portable instrument that retains all the sound generation capabilities found in the keyboard version. The voice architecture is in fact identical: three oscillators per voice and a ladder filter that has been updated with a dedicated drive and feedback control, making it easy to switch from a silky and soft sound to a bold and “crunchy” one through the simple rotation of a knob. Greater Expression through the Trigon-6 MPE

allows you to model every note with the MIDI Polyphonic Expression (MPE), an extension of the MIDI protocol that allows compatible devices to control multiple parameters within individual notes on compatible synthesizers. This guarantees more expressive instrumental performances, as each note can have its own pitch bend, filter cutoff, amplitude and other modulations.

The desktop module isn't just a simple scaled-down version of the Trigon-6 keyboard.
