MIDI/USB Controller E presents Touché SE (Software Edition) the new version of its innovative

Touché SE control surface is a unique tool for adding expression, depth and musicality to software and plug-in synthesizers. The new Expressive E controller is a revolutionary system, managing to combine traditional mechanisms and the most modern technology together. It is a real musical instrument of expression, which allows you to control the sound of a synthesizer with the simple pressure of a hand. Its surface has been designed to react to slight vibrations, to the minimum pressure of the fingers of one hand, allowing you to model sounds in a simple and immediate way as with an acoustic instrument.


Touché SE provides four independent expression sensors, with force feedback and sensitivity setting, and a behavior similar to the expression key of the Ondes Martenot. It is possible to apply a wide range of very intuitive gestures to obtain percussive rhythms, slides, vibrato, etc. Touché SE can be connected to any virtual synthesizer thanks to its integrated USB connection.

New advanced and complex sounds can be created by touching, touching and pressing on the control surface. A far cry from a simple mod-wheel with instant and real-time control of multiple parameters, using simple gestures that anyone can master.

The new SE (Software Edition) version, more accessible and affordable, provides USB connectivity and is designed for use in combination with the supplied Liè software for immediate control of virtual instruments such as Massive, Monark, Razor, Serum, Diva, Arturia V-Collection, etc.

Using the supplied Lié software, it is possible to configure which type of CC messages Touché can send. The Lié software works in total integration with Touché: it is a plug-in host application available in both VST and AU formats, compatible with all the main Digital Audio Workstations. The software allows the configuration and control of plug-ins in a simple and quick way and also includes a collection of sounds mapped at a professional level and immediately usable.

Lié integrates advanced features such as speedmapping, sensitivity curve, internal memory management, preset recalling, tags, random, etc. Lié also integrates sounds and configurations for a wide range of virtual synthesizers, as well as all the tools needed to create custom presets for software synths. All the supplied software presets have been created in partnership with UVI Falcon and are ready to be played inside the UVI Workstation, included in Lié. Touché SE and Lié together offer a fully integrated and innovative solution perfect for every keyboard player's setup.

Of course, Touché is also always available with analog MIDI and Control Voltage outputs along with other features for controlling hardware synthesizers.

Expressive E is a recently established French company composed of a very close-knit team of twelve engineers, musicians and developers. The project that started the transalpine brand originated a few years ago in a research laboratory in Paris: the LAM. The initial objective was to understand the key principle behind the behavior of the historic Ondes Martenot instrument, in order to then reproduce the same expressiveness with new technologies.
