Pair of WA-14 Wide Capsule Condenser Microphone Warm Audio WA-14Spil WA-14SP is the stereo set of the WA-14 microphone, which represents an authentic reproduction of the rare and unattainable “EB-Circuit” 414 style microphone. This microphone is universally recognized as the most faithful studio instrument of all time for capturing the naturalness of sound during every performance, with minimal coloring. The WA-14SP offers the same extraordinary sound performance as the original “EB” that inspired its creation, but it does so in a stereo format. Composed of a stereo pair of WA-14 microphones, the WA-14SP is equipped with a solid brass capsule in the CK-12 style, variable pads and three different polar patterns. A distinctive feature is that, unlike modern reinterpretations, the WA-14SP microphones are balanced with a transformer, which gives a deep and authentic reproduction of analog sound. With this set it is possible to record pianos, guitars, overheads and obtain an authentic stereo image, just like that obtained with the originals used by artists such as The Police, Common, Freddie Mercury, Billy Corgan and many others.
