Professional FET Condenser Studio Microphone without Transformer - Black Version The WA-47jr is the transformerless FET version of the WA-47, the Warm Audio microphone inspired by the classic '47 condenser microphone. The WA-47Jr is totally discreet, has three polar diagrams and has been designed for multiple applications, from home recording to professional studio, live and broadcast situations. It is perfect for recording vocals, guitars, acoustic/electric basses, drums, piano, strings, winds, but also for combinations of different sources. The WA-47Jr integrates a reproduction of the original k47 capsule, designed with the same “hole pattern” and the same frequency response. The Warm Audio version of this capsule (model WA-47-B-80v) was carefully constructed by an Australian factory with extreme precision, such as to allow the most important sound component to positively influence the tone of the WA-47Jr. The microphone provides a discrete signal path with low background noise which, when combined with the '47 style capsule, allows you to obtain a sound really similar to the original microphone at a much more affordable cost. The WA-47Jr uses the same capsule as the WA-47 model. The WA-47Jr's circuit uses high-quality Toshiba FETs, Wima film capacitors, and Panasonic electrolytic capacitors. The circuit is simplified compared to that of the classic '47, but the components and circuitry are of the highest quality and have a sound performance that is absolutely unrivaled in products in this price range.
