Based on the popular Starfire IV ST, this semi-hollow thin-body electric has the added power of 6 strings! Premium equipment includes an all-mahogany body (8 arched board and bottom), central block in solid spruce, ebony fingerboard with mother-of-pearl dot. The Guild three-piece mahogany handle with central maple reinforcement and “Soft U” profile. The nut is 43 mm, the guitar scale is 629 mm. Instead of the harp tailpiece present on the first 12 Guild electric strings (The Starfire XII made in the period '66-'74), this modern version has a Tune-O-Matic bridge with stopbar tailpiece to increase sustain and stability, necessary to keep the extra strings in tune. The Starfire IV ST 12-string includes dual LB-1 “Little Bucker” pickups replicas of the small Humbucking Guild. It includes the TKL hard case, the Shoreline Mist glossy polyurethane finish.. '
