Korg Kaoss Replay is a signal processor equipped with 128 effects that can be controlled in real time from the 5” inch OLED touch screen and equipped with an advanced audio sampling and reproduction system that can be managed by 16 high-quality velocity-sensitive pads. 128 sample slots (16 pads x 8 banks) for each of the 100 projects that can be conveniently stored on a microSD card (max 32GB). The samples are editable thanks to the touch screen and there is a 12-point Hot Cue function that will allow you to “play” them musically. The instrument accepts phono and line signals in RCA input, a dynamic microphone in the ¼” jack connector and has audio and MIDI connectivity via USB (micro B) and pentapolar MIDI IN and Out ports on DIN.

The PAD MOTION function allows you to automate your effects, to create parameter control patterns. To set a specific value of the parameters, you can use the TOUCH HOLD mode when interacting on the touch pad you find the perfect setting. The FX Release function ensures smooth, seamless transitions between one effect

Beyond Effects: Sampler and Looper

With 16 high-quality velocity-sensitive pads, KAOSS Replay simplifies and rationalizes playing, sampling or resampling thanks to 128 slots divided into 8 banks per project (up to 100 projects in total), conveniently stored on a microSD card. Enriched by a system for assigning samples to two groups with dedicated faders, together with the ability to detect speed in BPM, synchronization and quantization, the KAOSS Replay offers a complete solution for modern performers. In addition, the sample cropping feature, coupled with the 12-point Hot Cue activation system, will allow you to musically and creatively “play” your audio samples. The samples are captured in PCM format with a resolution of 48 kHz/16 bit for a total of up to 30 minutes of audio
