The Akai MPX16 is a sampler and player of audio samples in the format .Wav 44.100Hz/16bit from SD card equipped with 16 backlit and dynamically sensitive pads, which can be powered via USB or with the aid of the adapter included in the package. You can sample directly using the ¼” Jack audio inputs, or the integrated microphone, intervene on the sample assigned to each pad with functions such as filter, pitch, envelope, create choke groups and, thanks to the USB port, you can use the MPX16 as a MIDI Controller for DAW or DJ mixing software, as well as talk with the SD card in order to load the samples stored on your computer through the supplied software editor.
