Unison technology captures the sound of these microphone preamps, including their input impedance, gain 'sweetspots' and original hardware circuitry. Based on Unison's proprietary hardware-software integration, Apollo Twin X Heritage Edition allows you to record at a latency close to zero by passing the sound through the included emulations such as the UA 610-B tube preamp/equalizer, thus obtaining an authentic analog sound without any rival. Unison technology is also present on the Hi-Z instrument input on the Apollo Twin X front panel, offering the possibility of having the right impedance and gain matching for guitar and bass amplifier models from Fender, Marshall, Ampeg and many others.
