This is the new 'flagship' of the highly successful award-winning Fireface series and has been designed to become the nerve center of any studio or live production situation, with the possibility of managing a very large number of channels. With an even wider range of connectivity and compatibility options, the inclusion of DuRec (Direct USB Recording) technology and the combination of hardware and RME drivers that have always guaranteed very low latency times, the Fireface UFX+ takes the quality and reliability of a product in this category to a new level.
The Fireface UFX+ comes with new features not present in the models that preceded it, including MADI connectivity (both optical and coaxial), which brings the total number of channels capable of being managed by the card to 188 in and out (128 more channels than the Fireface UFX), plus a new DSP engine is integrated for zero-latency routing, as well as new effects and dynamics processors for all channels. The Fireface UFX+ includes USB 3.0 connections, Thunderbolt and the ability to use the new optional ARC USB remote control. Of course, it is compatible with both Mac OS X® and Windows®, with hot plugging functionality. For multitrack recording, mixing and monitoring, this is the new reference system.
