The D-140CE Black adds a new color option to the ever popular D-40 and D-140 series, combining a striking glossy black finish that contrasts beautifully with the white edging and mother-of-pearl inlays in the rosette and on the headstock. Premium features such as fully solid woods, bone nut and saddle, a Fishman GT-1 pickup system, and Guild's premium padded case with microfleece interior make the D-140CE a professional-grade instrument packed with incredible value.

This complete and powerful dreadnought offers guitarists a classic acoustic sound and a balanced voice thanks to its completely solid woods. Solid Sitka spruce for the top and solid African mahogany for the back and sides are an excellent combination, the chiseled soundbars and the rosewood fingerboard and bridge give this instrument an attack and tone that define the Guild sound.
