Thanks to hundreds of hours of study with the most famous reference amplifiers, we were able to design the new St. James. Thanks to the tonal differences between the EL34 and 6L6 power valves, the St. James' offer complete performance in any situation. St. James EL34 is the amplifier for classic sounds that combines typical British crunch with a Clean American sound. The version with 6L6 tubes has the same headroom for Clean sounds, and is combined with the Overdrive circuit with the highest gain ever achieved by Blackstar!
