in honor of Ted McCarty, a pioneer of the electric guitar and the musical instrument industry, the McCarty model contains all the most modern discoveries of PRS looking at the golden age of the electric guitar. This vintage-flavored instrument features a 22-key Pattern neck, with a slightly thicker back to improve tone and sustain, and McCarty LT humbuckers characterized by a vintage character, exceptional clarity and focused mids. Paired with a Push/Pull tone knob and a 3-way selector, these pickups offer a full range of sounds.

“One of my sayings is that everything that touches the strings is God: in reality it's about the bridge, the nut and the tuners. So when we created the McCarty model, we looked at just that.
