A new entry in the Guild USA series, D-40 Traditional is perfect for guitarists looking for the most modern dreadnought sound inspired by the history of this legendary brand. The classic combination of solid sitka spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides offers a sound with generous volume, definition and sustain. The D-40 features Indian rosewood bridge and fingerboard, three-piece mahogany neck/with central reinforcement in Walnut (Walnut) with C profile, 651 mm scale. The vintage-style open machines have a 20:1 ratio, the nut (43 mm) and the handle are made of bone. An elegant and light natural glossy nitrocellulose coating gives this guitar a fascinating look and adequate protection. The classic features of the D-40 Traditional also include a vintage-style rosette, the turtle celluloid pickguard, white ABS binding, Guild logo on the mother-of-pearl headstock. Each D-40 Traditional comes with a numbered certificate of authenticity, hardwood case with a Humicase® humidification system.
