OVERVIEW OF THE ALPS J450e BY EKO GUITARS

With the

“Grand Auditorium” shape, the Alps is characterized by a deep and enveloping sound, typical shades of jumbo-like guitars. To enrich the tonal landscape of this instrument, the Italian spruce top combined with bands and bottom in 3-layer laminated Koa. The body attachment at 14° allows you to reach the most advanced keys with agility, a very useful feature for solo guitarists, always considering that on an acoustic guitar you can hardly reach keys beyond 15°. The Alps comes in Natural color with Glossy paint and is equipped with Eko Vintage Open Gear mechanics. From an electronic point of view, it stands out in reliability and performance thanks to the Fishman Flex Plus onboard system, a “Sonitone” piezo transducer with bass, treble, volume and phase inversion controls

THE ROSEWOOD BRANCH

After two decades of research, Blackwood Tek, a partner of Algam since 2015, has developed an ecological process, planting short-cycle pine forests in New Zealand (Pinus Radiata), which complies with the requirements of the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council). The production process ensures that this wood contains little moisture (only about 5%), is dense and resistant to changes in temperature or humidity. This means that it is not affected by the temperature changes that occur during transport, and is immediately ready to be used. Giving Branko Wood a darker color results in a perfect substitute for Ebony, while with a lighter color than Rosewood. Eko Guitars, part of the great Algam galaxy (which in Italy takes the name of AlGameKo), has been using Il Branko Rosewood on the EVO, MIA and ALPS series since 2021
