The Genelec 8000 series speaker family is widely used in broadcast and television fields, music production and post-production and represents the reference standard worldwide. The latest model is perfect in small spaces, such as OB Van and location recording. The new Genelec 8010 are equipped with balanced XLR inputs, 3" bass drivers and 3/4" tweeters with efficient Class D amplifiers, one for each driver. The new Intelligent Signal Sensing (ISS) circuit saves energy by putting the speakers on stand-by when there is no signal at the audio inputs and reactivating them as soon as an audio signal is detected. This circuit can also be deactivated if not necessary. As with the entire 8000 series, a wide range of accessories is also available for the 8010 for every type of need, allowing you to position the monitors in the best possible way in all conditions of use.
