In any case, the small size of the active 2-way monitor does not affect in any way the quality and balance of the acoustic reproduction typical of the Genelec brand, adopting many of the ingenious innovations designed to minimize any form of distortion. The ISS (Intelligent Signal Sensing) function reduces the system's electrical consumption to less than 0.5 watts by automatically putting the monitor on standby when no signal is detected on the inputs for a certain period of time. As soon as an input audio signal is detected, the system is instantly turned back on. This ISS function is compatible with the new EU standards and the ErP Directive 2013, which regulates the consumption of electronic equipment.
