GUILD ITALIA JUMBO JR BASS FLAME MAPLE ANTIQUE BLONDE SATIN

We have selected a solid Sitka spruce top and an arched flamed maple bottom used for centuries in the construction of double basses to give a serious and definite tone unthinkable for such a small instrument. Bottom, bands and handle are finished with an antique satin blonde finish that gives depth and unique character thanks to the beautiful veins of the wood. The low and deep voice of the Jumbo Junior can be amplified or recorded using the Fishman Sonitone BT-1 active bass pickup specially designed for Guild, the system includes a volume control and a tone control. Other important features are ebony fingerboard and bridge, nut (41mm) and bone cross, mother-of-pearl rosette, mother-of-pearl Guild logo on the headstock, tortoiseshell celluloid pickguard, phosphor bronze strings with nylon core. The satin finish is natural for the top and blonde for the bands and bottom make it unique in modern Guild production.
