The new Scale, Chord and Areggiator features make it possible to make the most of harmonic and melodic ideas and cues, taking them to new creative directions, with the possibility of 'triggering' chords from individual notes, transforming them into riffs, melodies and sequences 'on the fly'. Thanks to the Capture MIDI function, you will no longer miss a note, even if you forget to press' record ', with a special dedicated button to activate the function on Ableton Live. The 25-key version is preferred for those who have problems with limited space in the studio and want an excellent portable and lightweight control surface, perfect for 'mobile producers' and performers. Through Novation Components it is also possible to configure the MIDI parameter assignments of Launchkey potentiometers, faders and pads, to be able to control any type of MIDI message. Launchkey MK3 naturally also works in standalone mode, making it the perfect controller for any music production situation, with or without a computer. The Scale, Chord and Custom modes, as well as the areggiator, can all be configured through Novation Components, then saving the setting on the Launchkey. The DAW that works best with Launchkey is Ableton Live, but these controllers work perfectly and have total integration with other Digital Audio Workstations such as Logic and Reason. Support is then guaranteed via HUI even with DAW such as Studio One, Cubase and Pro Tools.
