MOOG MUSIC Grandmother

Grandmother 32-key Semi-Modular Analog Synth is a semi-modular analog synthesizer with integrated arpeggiator, sequencer and spring reverb. The instrument is accessible to everyone in a simple and immediate way (“no patching required”) with the possible possibility then to deepen the knowledge of the infinite potential of sound generation with the completely reconfigurable front panel. The Grandmother circuitry, the spring reverb and the general philosophy of this synthesizer are inspired by the classic Moog modular synthesizers, making this instrument the ideal complement for a setup with Mother-32, DFAM or a Eurorack modular system. The philosophy and the basic concept that led to the creation of this synth, with the modular systems always in mind, could not do without an entirely analog sound and modulation engine, including the 'full analog' spring reverb, for a final result of unlimited power for sound generation. In addition, Grandmother also integrates an Arpeggiator and a Sequencer that are extremely effective and simple to use, for an additional guarantee of expressive potential. Although not strictly necessary, patching allows you to explore and experiment with new sounds with almost unlimited possibilities. Being able to discover the relationship between the different modules allows you to literally 'unlock' Grandmother to expand its already rich options and functionalities dedicated to synthesis. Patching can also be used to 'overwrite' internal connections, effectively making each section independent as if each were a real module. In addition to its standalone functionality, Grandmother is also an excellent analog audio signal processor for external sound sources and a powerful front end for expanding a Mother-32, a DFAM or a Eurorack modular system.
