Semi-Modular Analog Synth for Euro Rack Percussion Already premiered and in a limited edition in May 2017 at Moogfest in Asheville, Moog now introduces the DFAM module - acronym for Drummer From Another Mother - Semi-Modular Analog Percussion Synthesizer.

Drummer From Another Mother (DFAM) is a semi-modular percussion synthesizer handcrafted in the American Moog factory and is the first synth to be added to the Mother-32 family, a semi-modular table-top synth with an on-board sequencer in Eurorack format.

With DFAM it is possible to build rhythmic patterns in a simple and intuitive way, with the possibility of intervening on the modification of each parameter during execution. As with the Mother-32, there is an on-board step-sequencer in 8x2 format. The circuitry is 100% full analog and there are two oscillators, a Moog Ladder analog filter with selectable Low/High Pass and three envelope generators. The waveforms capable of providing the two on-board oscillators are square and triangular, independently selectable and a noise generator is also provided.
DFAM.jpg, thanks to the 3 envelopes, DFAM allows you to create very high-impact rhythms in combination with the integrated sequencer. With each unit there is also a pack of Moog patch cables to be used with the modular 24-point patchbay: in this way it is of course also possible to interface with the Mother-32 for unprecedented creative possibilities.
