Unlike other guitars with an ultra-small scale, SDC-1 mini is able to faithfully maintain pitch, string tension and tuning using large caliber strings.

Aimed at the guitarist who needs a small, portable and comfortable instrument to take with them on a trip, to be used in the hotel room, on the tour bus or backstage, SDC-1 mini is the ideal and perfect travel guitar to be used in combination with the amPlug or AmPhones.

The scale of the SDC-1 mini is identical to a full-size guitar, however, starting from the fifth fret of the latter. By applying high-caliber strings such as .012-.054 it is possible to tune the guitar in a standard EADGBE way because the large caliber strings give a softer and more comfortable feel to the touch on short scale guitars
