'The Polara Deluxe model offers an improved finishing package compared to the basic Polara model, offering classic aesthetics that recall the design elements of the 70s with modern improvements. Where the basic Polara model is essential, the Polara Deluxe is elevated.

The Polara features a mahogany body with a glued handle design and a 24 ¾ scale length, familiar and welcoming to all types of players. A rosewood fingerboard with edging and block inlays offers an improved look, while the headstock includes Guild's classic 'Peak' and 'Chesterfield' inlays. A 12.5 inch radius and a vintage soft U neck shape provide comfortable playability across the entire keyboard. Guild's plywood tailpiece, and color options ranging from classic clear to modern metallic.

The HB-2+ pickups are modern extensions of Guild's much desired HB-1 oversized humbucker pickups, built in traditional dimensions with Alnico V magnets. These over-wound HB-2+ pickups offer a variety of high-quality tones with lots of character and personality. The Polara Deluxe features traditional Guild pickup covers with Guild's classic dual-track design, with 2x volume controls, 2x tone, and push/pull coil splitting for maximum tonal variety.

Available in three different options: Cherry Red, Vintage Sunburst and Canyon Dusk. For those looking for the original '70s look, a clear Cherry Red finish on the mahogany body never disappoints. A Vintage Sunburst option brings some of the aesthetics of Guild's hollow-body guitars to this solid guitar with an updated glued neck, with a hand-executed nuance that emphasizes the body, neck, and headstock. The Canyon Dusk metallic finish, one of Guild's most popular finishes, matches the nickel hardware and rosewood fingerboard perfectly.
