The 20-wire tailpiece is included and the Steve Gadd Signature 10-wire tailpiece (14” x5.5”) is available. This is a 14-wire tailpiece from which the four central cables have been removed.
This special snare drum enhances the cutoff of the sound, allowing the artist to produce a brighter detached sound.
The center bead is fixed outside to produce a more open sound than our traditional drums, for more defined articulated performances.

The sturdy Q-type tie rod is durable and at the same time guarantees solid, stable and smooth operation, as well as allowing the adjustment and replacement of the snare drum.
