256 Channel 192kHz AVB/TSN Interface This mobile audio interface is based on the AVB (Audio Video Bridging) standard and allows the transmission of up to 256 audio channels between a Windows computer and other AVB products, through a single USB 3.0 cable. With Digiface AVB, RME focuses on the future of audio networking: the USB audio interface uses the open IEEE 802.1 protocol as part of the AVB standard and allows the synchronized and priority streaming of audio data on a network. The integrated USB 3.0 connection allows streaming up to 128 audio channels on the AVB network and another 128 on the computer - with sample rates up to 192 kHz. Users can adjust a number ranging from 2 to 32 streaming channels, to ensure maximum compatibility with other AVB products available on the market. In addition to the Gigabit Ethernet connection and the USB 3.0 port, the Digiface AVB has Word Clock I/O and a high-quality headphone output for flexible signal transmission. The TotalMix FX, a DSP mixer with infinite routing and monitoring options, is included in the package together with an AVDECC controller. The controller allows you to identify all AVB devices within the network and enables users to monitor incoming and outgoing audio streams.
