ESI planet 22x is a new and revolutionary sound card that combines the most modern audio networking technology based on the Dante protocol with the requirements of an audio interface for professional desktop recording, both for studio and mobile applications.

The audio interface is equipped with ultra high quality 24-bit/96kHz AD converters with 118dB (a) of dynamic range and 24-bit/96kHz DA converters with 123dB (a) of dynamic range. The two balanced analog line inputs can also be used with integrated ultra low noise professional microphone preamplifiers and special Hi-Z instrument input stages. The balanced master line output can be controlled with a high-precision potentiometer. In addition, it offers high-quality amplified headphone output.

The planet 22x can be powered both with the supplied 12V DC power supply and from the network cable as a PoE (Power over Ethernet) device. This makes it possible to use the interface even when there are no power outlets nearby.

With the support of Dante, planet 22x can be used with any other Dante device on an IP audio network, which makes it a very economical solution for adding audio channels to any existing network. But planet 22x has also been designed to be a versatile professional audio interface, using the Dante Virtual Soundcard protocol for any audio recording application, both on Mac and PC - in any professional environment.
