MADI & Dante 24/192 32-channel Analog D/A Converter The M-32 Pro II series is designed to meet the needs of professional studios, immersive sound installations, live audio systems and industrial applications that need a reliable solution for analog conversion with high-level network audio processing. These new converters are available with 32 analog inputs or outputs and with Dante® or AVB, for a choice of four different models. With up to 32 channels, fully equipped MADI I/O, improved specifications with extremely low THD values, intelligent channel routing and innovative usability, the brand new M-32 Pro II series truly represents the state of the art in terms of exceptional audio performance. All devices are equipped with a series of advanced features. A second network port has been added to provide redundancy or allow cascading within the same network (Dante model only). The coaxial Word Clock BNC and MADI connectors are integrated, and the optical MADI can be added with an optional SFP module, making it ideal for applications that require a large number of channels at high sample rates. The channels of both MADI ports can be routed individually to and from AVB/Dante. Dante connectivity has been a frequent request and has been integrated to work natively on the M-32 Pro II-D hardware. It provides direct connectivity to other audio devices through standard switches and allows users to record and play back up to 64 channels directly from their computer to any analog and digital I/O of the M-32 using Audinate's Dante VirtualSoundCard™ (license not included). AVB models transmit and receive up to 128 channels at 48 kHz (96 @96k, 64 @192k) and with a precise and fixed latency for the entire network. Each device reveals its status and configurable options to the ATDECC controllers on the network, allowing it to be integrated into time-aware systems that use the open standard IEEE 1722.1.
