The Jazz Bass Quarter Pound pickups have it all: hot output, great attack, and massive attitude. The 1/4” diameter poles and hot coil wrap provide a complete and uniform response with great sustainability and sound complexity for a powerful tone suitable for any genre. Get the most power out of an overloaded coil, with the articulation and detailed high-end of a vintage pickup. The neck position model is RWRP wrapped (reverse/reverse polarity) for hum cancellation when used in conjunction with the bridge pickup. These pickups are drop-in replacements for any American Jazz Bass bass (standard Mexican jazz basses use two neck-size pickups). Hand-built in Santa Barbara, California, the Quarter Pound for Jazz Bass pickups uses Alnico 5 rod magnets and Forbon flatwork and are in a wax pot for squeak-free operation. Each comes with a black cover and are available in 4- and 5-string configurations.
