11202-03-RWRP-T Equipped with 5-inch, quarter-inch alnico rod magnets, these high-performance Strat pickups deliver that enormous Ritchie Blackmore Strat tone: large, medium, and perfect for heavy rock. With more than twice the power of a traditional Stratocaster single coil, Quarter Pound pickups will transform any Stratocaster into an average growling beast, giving you a fat, punchy tone with lots of high-end sparkle. These high-performance Strat pickups will give you big, powerful chords, and individual notes will pop out in a way that no other pickup can offer. The individually hand-polished ¼” diameter Alnico 5 magnets help to give a lot of high-level brilliance and mid-range harmonics that make this pickup so special. The center pickup is RW/RP for quiet operation in positions 2 and 4. The neck/bridge and center pickups are also available in an optional plugged variant, allowing you to take advantage of both vintage and high-performance tones with a single set. These reels are hand built, dipped in lacquer, then wrapped and waxed in pots for squeak-free performance.
